Hosted-Feature Privacy

Route Ready uses hosted services when you request online scenery or GSX discovery, ask the live Preflight Copilot, validate a Pro license, or load online map data.

Search and Copilot

Airport discovery sends the search type, airport identifier and name, and standard or deep search mode. Copilot sends your question and a bounded evidence envelope for the active flight, which may include route airports, exact-aircraft status, readiness claims, selected SimBrief facts, public weather, runway reference data, vetted links, and up to six recent Copilot messages.

Local simulator paths, Community or Addons Linker paths, and SimBrief credentials are excluded. Online search results are shown for the active session and are not written into saved briefs, exported reports, or the lookup cache.

Licensing

The license key is encrypted for the current Windows user on the computer. Hosted requests present the key as authorization. The gateway validates it with Lemon Squeezy, uses only license status and product identifiers, derives a pseudonymous subject for limits, and discards returned customer name and email metadata. A short-lived successful-validation cache stores a SHA-256-derived identifier rather than the raw key. The raw key is not intentionally written to operational logs or model prompts.

Operations and providers

Bounded operational records can include a pseudonymous subject, request class, airport/search mode, provider-operation count, failure count, and duration. They are used to protect the service, monitor reliability, and understand aggregate cost. Full questions, license keys, purchase email, local paths, and full provider result payloads are not intentionally included in these records.

Hosted requests can be processed by Cloudflare, Brave Search API, Cloudflare Workers AI, Lemon Squeezy, AviationWeather.gov, and the configured commercial map provider under their respective terms.
